The Onkyo TX-NR5100 is an affordable and versatile 7.2-channel 8K AV receiver. This smart AV receiver combines the latest HDMI 2.1 and 8K technology. High definition audio and immersive sound via connected media players, game consoles and audio from TV apps via eARC.
Klipsch optimization mode makes it easy to seamlessly integrate your Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers with the Onkyo TX-NR5100 receiver. Klipsch and Onkyo are collaborating to implement precise crossover values for certain new Reference loudspeakers. Now you can simply select the speaker model you want to use for each individual channel and the optimized crossover setting will be applied automatically.
The Onkyo TX-NR5100 easily integrates with your existing smart home ecosystem, including Apple Airplay, Alexa, Google Apps and more. You get an extremely powerful and compatible network device that can fit seamlessly into your multi-room ecosystem.
HDMI 2.1 is the latest update to the HDMI specification, supporting eARC, a range of higher video resolutions and frame rates including 8K@60 and 4K@120, and dynamic HDR formats. 8K offers an immersive viewing experience with twice the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K and four times the number of pixels. In combination with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, smooth and sharp playback of fast-paced content is guaranteed. HDMI 2.1 with 8K and eARC ensure your system is ready for the clearest picture on the market. 4K@120 ensures clear and crisp UHD images with ultra-fast movements. Sports, action movies, and high-performance gaming all benefit greatly.
