DD AUDIO SS2000

The new SS2000 is the latest half bridge, midpower, high speed, full range, class D amplifier able to fulfill many different system designs. This monoblock comfortably makes in excess of 2000 watts of 20Hz -20kHz power at less than 1% THD+N, at 1 Ohm. The SS2000 can drive subwoofers and multiple mid/high speaker combinations with sound quality exceeding the current crop of low cost full bridge amplifiers.

The design starts with our normal DD style strong power supply, using a high efficiency toroidal transformer coupled to an oversized cap bank and high current mosfets. Power delivery is clean and unstressed while the internal fan cooling with the thick walled DD style aluminum heat sink allows a very small footprint, 7.3” wide x 7.7” deep.
