HELIX has optimized the new woofer with loving attention to detail and included elements of the legendary SPXL 12 in the high-precision series. The rubber surround is not only sewn to the cone, it is also firmly screwed to the basket using the machined mounting ring. The cone itself – a Kevlar / paper-sandwich design – is also new and stiffer than before to withstand even the strongest impulses without warping.
