Don't settle for small 5X7 speakers if you can have full-grown 6x9 speakers for a fat bass in your standard Harley case lids.

The membrane area of a 5x7 speaker is only slightly larger than that of a 13 cm speaker and that of a 6x9 is significantly larger than that of a 16.5 cm speaker!

Fired with an amplifier (also with the original!) The 6x9 speakers can finally bring you the desired bass kick out of the suitcases, which you always had to do without with the 5x7. And since the 6x9 does not have to be driven permanently at your load limit, destroyed speakers in the case lid are finally a thing of the past.

This kit requires modification of the factory speaker covers. The integrated plastic basket at the bottom of the speaker lid must be cut and sanded to create a level mounting surface for mounting the adapter. This is quick and easy with an oscillating multi-tool, for details see installation instructions which we link below.

This kit contains (8) eight aluminum threaded rivet nuts. Due to the low material thickness of the plastic ring, we recommend not to press the nuts in contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, but merely stick with ultra glue including activator.

Attention: This adapter kit is intended for CVO with electronic lid locking mechanism.
