Along with its ultra-rigid enclosure, PV1D uses horizontally-opposed bass drivers, working back-to-back. That spreads the bass better, and also makes the whole assembly self-damping, keeping it stable and inert. 

The simple, intuitive touch-control panel lets you 'dial in' PV1D for use with everything from little satellite speakers to big floorstanding models: behind it is advanced digital processing to make the most of all the bass on offer.

PV1D takes its style from the inherently strong form of diving spheres and other pressure vessels: simply, it was the only shape able to handle all that power.
