Overview
The DP-450USB turntable features a specially engineered S-shaped tonearm, with an optimized tracking angle and auto-lift function. As the vinyl record finishes playing, the tonearm will automatically lift back to its resting spot, preserving the condition of the vinyl and the cartridge stylus. The S-shape curved tonearm design is carefully constructed to reduce harmonic distortion, making sure you always listen to a pure and clear audio signal. The turntable contains a 3-way speed selector, 33 1/3, 45 and 78rpm, to allow for the widest array of vinyl records to be played.

The built-in phono equalizer in the DP-450USB creates an open and engaging sound stage, bringing your vinyl records to life. The turntable can be connected directly to a mini component or integrated amplifier for easy and straightforward use. The DP-450USB is part of the Denon Design Series, and will integrated seamlessly with any component in the series, such as the DRA-100 network receiver/amplifier and DCD-100 CD player, to create a modern home Hi-Fi system.

To digitize and store all your favorite vinyl albums, the DP-450USB features an integrated USB type-A port on the front on the turntable, suitable for converting the vinyl to WAV or MP3 file formats. With the one-touch recording function, you can simply and easily convert your analogue vinyl record into a digital format, allowing you to take the sound of vinyl anywhere, without the need for the turntable. With Musicut Software for Windows 10, further editing is possible. You can cut and organize your ripped albums with the easy to use PC software, including downloading metadata and cover art (for MP3 only) and build a digital library of your vinyl collection, with all the original warmth and sound of the vinyl records.

With the Denon DP-450USB comes a moving magnet cartridge, for precise and accurate listening. The MM cartridge is able to pick up added musical details. The turntable also supports moving coil cartridges, so if you prefer, you can swap out the MM cartridge for a MC cartridge, and still experience quality Denon sound. Also included with the DP-450USB turntable is a removable dust cover, with a modern aesthetic, that also eliminates any unwanted vibrations sometimes caused by attached covers. The dust cover is also designed to double as a display stand for your vinyl sleeves whilst the album is playing, so you can show your records proudly.

An integrated auto sensor functions to accurately control the weighted, belt-driven platter during playback, in order to prevent any unwanted speed fluctuations. This means you can enjoy all your vinyl records just as the artist intended. The weighted platter and thick cabinet walls provide an optimal surface to reduce vibrations, and the solid construction gives the strength and high density needed to deliver resonance free music. The DP-450USB turntable sits at just 41cm in width, meaning that in its compact size, the turntable can fit easily with any existing Hi-Fi system. Despite its compact size, the DP-450USB is still capable of outputting powerful and detailed sound.
